Transceiver for Low Signal-To-Noise Ratio Packet-Based Communication Channels
Tech ID: 20709 / UC Case 2006-196-0
Technology Description
University inventors have invented a transceiver which enables packet acquisition at low (< 0dB) signal-to-noise ratio without the use of external synchronization. This invention enables:
- Extended range in spread spectrum networks,
- Improved reliability of spread spectrum networks, and
- Low SINR operation for spread spectrum radios, without significant additional design costs.
