Technology Description

The invention relates to a method of using Fab fragments to block antibodies used in fluorescence or magnetic activated cell/nuclei sorting (FACS/FANS/MACS) for subsequent CUT&RUN/GO-CaRT and CUT&Tag assays. The Fab fragment is an antibody variant that still binds to antigens but is monovalent with no Fc portion This eliminates non-specific binding between the Fc portion of antibodies used in FACS/FANS/MACS and protein A/G portion of the MNase and Tn5 fusion proteins.
