Suggested uses

This is a method of alkylating an aromatic compound comprising an alkylation agent in the presence of UCB-3 as a catalyst under reaction conditions suitable for aromatic alkylation. For example, the aromatic compound comprises toluene and the alkylating agent comprises an olefin such as propylene. 

Advantages

The temperature range for the reaction is in the range of from 100 to 300°C.
