IP Awareness Training

Intellectual property (IP) plays a vital role in innovation and economic productivity. This online training module is intended to provide a user-friendly overview of the four main categories of IP: patents, copyright, trademarks, and trade secrets. While it was developed to serve as a resource for University of California students, faculty, and staff, much of the information it contains is relevant to all inventors and content creators – in academia and beyond.
